CLASS OF 2025 KEY INFORMATION AND APPLICATION

application deadline is February 21, 2025 – only 20 participants will be accepted into the program

Leadership Glen Rose is a dynamic community-centric initiative spearheaded by the Glen Rose Somervell County Chamber of Commerce. The goals of the program:

  1. Create servant leaders – putting an emphasis on community involvement and engagement;
  2. Provide behind-the-scenes look into anything and everything Glen Rose/Somervell County;
  3. Showcase the importance of personal development, self-care and intentional living;
  4. Give attendees/members tremendous networking opportunity;
  5. Create raving fans for Glen Rose and Somervell County.

The Selection Committee is seeking applicants who:

  • Have a sincere commitment, motivation and interest to serve the local community, commerce and interests;

  • Have demonstrated their commitment through involvement in community and industry activities;

  • Are interested in and plan to seek positions on boards, committees or key leadership roles in the community;

  • Have exhibited a capacity for learning, leading and team building.

Nomination Criteria for Leadership Glen Rose (for employers and sponsoring organizations) :

  • Community Advocate

  • Emerging Leader – Young professionals displaying exceptional leadership potential.

  • Industry Innovator – Professionals contributing significantly to their respective fields.

  • Diverse Perspectives – Individuals representing diverse backgrounds, cultures, and industries.

  • Collaborative Spirit

  • Visionary Thinker – Forward-thinking individuals with a clear vision for Glen Rose’s future.

Tentative Timeline (Sessions will begin and end in Glen Rose; transportation during session will be provided by Leadership GR; all dates are potentially subject to change.)

April 8:                   Team Building    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

May 13:                  Session I    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

June 10:                 Session II    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

July 8:                    Session III    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

August 12:             Session IV    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

September 9:         Session V    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

October 14:            Session VI    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

November 11:       Session VI    (8:30  a.m. to 4 p.m.)

December 9:          Graduation    (TBD)
